 Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers how merchants using the RapidePay.com Payment Gateway treat personally identifiable information collected from individuals (hereafter “you”) using the RapidePay.com Authorize.Net Payment Gateway services in the course of making payments to a verified RapidePay Merchants.

This Policy does not apply to the specific practices of companies or merchants that RapidePay.com does not own or control, or to people that RapidePay.com does not employ or manage.

When you use the RapidePay’s Authorize.Net Payment Gateway to make a payment to one of our authorized merchants, personally identifiable information is acquired in processing payment transactions and vary according to the merchant, the nature of the transaction and the way in which merchants or financial institutions are using our payment services. It may include, for example, the amount of the transaction, the consumer’s name, credit card number and expiration date, bank account number, checking account number, billing address, and shipping address.

Merchants use RapidePay.com and the information collected to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, to process payment transactions, to facilitate billing, and otherwise deliver the payment gateway services. They may also send merchants service announcements, newsletters, and periodic notices about specials, new products and services and products and services offered individual merchants. Personally identifiable consumer information is used to process payment transactions and for no other purpose.

RapidePay.com does not request or knowingly collect personally identifiable contact information from anyone under the age of 13.

Information security is critical to our merchant partner’s business. The RapidePay’s Authorize.Net Payment Gateway provided to our verified merchants uses Authorize.Net to send personally identifiable information about you to in connection with products and services offered by RapidePay merchant partners. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We also require that any personally identifiable consumer information sent via the RapidePay.com Authorize.Net Payment Gateway by you be encrypted using SSL encryption. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your Login ID/password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer and otherwise protect the password used to access the RapidePay.com services.

The ability to edit your Account Information and preferences, including whether you want a RapidePay.com Merchant to contact you about specials and new products must be handled directly with the merchant you are making payments to. See their individual contact information.

RapidePay.com reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. If there are material changes to this statement or in how RapidePay.com will use personally identifiable information, RapidePay.com will post notice on the RapidePay.com homepage at www.rapidepay.com prior to implementing the change. The amended Terms shall automatically become effective immediately after they are posted. Your continued use of the site or RapidePay.com services after the posting of the amended Terms on the Site constitutes your affirmative: (a) acknowledgement of the terms and its modifications; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by the terms, as amended.
